It was a bright & beautiful sunny day, Junnie was in his café handling customers and making delicious drinks. Junnie smiled to himself as he wiped off the dirty cups that were on the counter. As he finished, he heard a soft jingle of the doorbell signalling that someone had entered the cafe.“Hi welcome I-“Junnie looked up and before he finished his sentence he sighed and rolled his eyes. “Junnie sweetie, still running this shabby little cafe I see” a woman in an extravagant dress says. This woman was Junnies mother, she’s the CEO of one of the most famous business companies in Australia. Junnie sighs “What do you want mother can’t you see that I’m busy” Junnies mother hands her purse to her secretary, “Jun.. I think it’s about time you come and work for your dad and I” Junnies mother said in a serious tone as she proceeds to walk up to the counter where Jun is.“Mother, you know I’m not going anywhere and neither is my cafe, this is my home, my dream and I don’t want to give it up at all.” Junnie says with determination in his eyes, “Well you don’t have a choice... I contacted the demolition company to take this cafe down” Junnie’s mother says as she hands Jun the papers. “W-what mother… you can’t do this to me” Junnie says as he looks at the papers heartbroken, “Well actually I can, your father and I have been planning to build another company building here even way before you started your little cafe, so I suggest you say your goodbyes and come work for your father and I… we’ll be waiting for you.” Junnie’s mother says as her and her secretary exit their way out of the cafe. Junnie looks at the papers completely devastated and in disbelief, he sighs to himself knowing that there’s nothing he can really do against his parents. Junnie closes up the cafe for the day and cleans up.It’s 8:30pm on a dark and misty night, Jun is sitting in his room at the end of the bed thinking about what he could do, he whispers to himself “Is this really the end? I worked hard and I don’t want to lose everything because of my stubborn and greedy parents”. Junnie reflects to himself as he looks out the window. As he looked into the sky, a shooting star flies across, Junnie looks up and makes a wish ‘I wish one day I can escape this nightmare, I want to be where I can have my own magical dream cafe without my parents trying to ruin everything, I want to be myself & live my dream life’, Jun opens his eyes as he finishes his wish whilst he watches the stars. Jun then realises the time and needs to get some rest, he does his nightly routine and heads to sleep.The next morning Junnie wakes up, his eyes glance at the ceiling & sighs to himself with so many thoughts about yesterday “I guess I should gather all of my things before the demolition company gets here”. Junnie strolls around his room with many thoughts as he walks up to open his window. As he opens it, he realizes the sky is pitch black “Wait why is it pitch black?” Junnie says to himself as he starts to panic. He rushes downstairs to the entrance of his cafe and first opens up the blinds and windows down there.Once he opens up everything, he realizes he’s not on earth anymore but it looks to be on a planet or star in outer space. “How did I get here? Am I alive? What’s going on?” As Junnie says this he looks outside and sees a floating Shiba. Once he sees the Shiba, Junnie panics and opens the door to grab him. He doesn’t question how he can breathe and grabs the Shiba who seems unharmed. Junnie heads back inside and lets out a sigh of relief “I wonder how you got out there little guy” Jun says as he holds the Shiba close to his chest. “Thank you for saving me I appreciate it” the Shiba says as he looks at Junnie. Jun backs up with an extremely shocked look on his face, “D-did you just talk?” The Shiba looks at him “Yeah, is it not normal?” The Shiba tilts his head in confusion. “W-well yeah it’s not really normal where I come from”, Junnie says as he’s still trying to take in everything. Junnie is extremely confused & lost of his whereabouts. “I see… well then, my name is Pankeki it’s nice to meet you” Pankeki says as he gently rubs himself on Junnies leg. Jun smiles softly as he gently pats Pankeki’s head “I’m Jaijunn but you can call me Jai or Junnie! It’s nice to meet you Pankeki but are you able to tell me where we are, I don’t even know how I got here!” Junnie questions.“We’re on a star named Asteria, it's one of the brightest stars up here in the universe! I was wondering around the town and then this building showed up, in this world you can envision anything you want for it to be a reality” Pankeki explains. Junnie is still confused and in shock, did his wish actually come true? Is he able to run his dream cafe without his greedy parents? “Hey Pankeki?” Jai says as he looks at the soft furred Shiba. “Hm? Yes?” Pankeki looks at Jai with a concerned look, Jai smiles softly as he picks up Pankeki “Wanna help me run my cafe?”.And with that, the opening of ‘Shiba Hoshi Cafe’ is where the adventures of Junnie and Pankeki on the star of Asteria begin.Lore Credits: kiri.xp
